Is Tiger Woods’ in Mississippi?

Well, there has been no word on Tiger Woods since his now famous car accident and the litany of sexual escapades that followed. The latest news is that the golf great is seeking sex rehabilitation in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Fox news reports that Tiger has admitted himself at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Center- which has a great reputation for treating all sorts of behaviour problems including sex addiction.
The webpage on Pine Grove indicates that they offer a variety of behavior treatments that can last about 6 weeks. Most people believe that Tiger woods’ suffers from sex addiction based on his affairs with 14 women, while he was married. Some of these women were party hostesses and others were call girls or high priced prostitutes.
Many of the girls who were involved with Tiger have talked about his penchant for threesomes, “girl on girl sex parties” and gang bangs.
Recently it was reported that Tiger was staying at the home of billionaire friend Jim Dolan, CEO of Cable vision and owner of Madison square garden.
It is not known whether the sex therapy will help Tiger achieve his dream of winning more golf majors than anyone else.
Only time will tell.
Actovegin did not help Tiger Woods recover

It was reported a few weeks ago that Tiger Woods had recovered a lot faster after receiving injections of the controversial blood product, actovegin, by a Canadian physician.
However, the latest study from Holland indicates that this blood based product does diddly squat.
In this small study done in Holland, the injections were no better than salt water injections in individuals who had Achilles tendon injuries. The Achilles tendon is a large tendon which connects the lower calf muscles to the heel. It is quite prone to injury in athletes and recovery can be long and difficult.
In this study, the treatment involved injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), extracted from patients’ own blood and not CALF Blood.
It has been speculated that Tiger woods’ underwent a series of these injections after his knee surgery in 2008.
After 6 months, this study found no differences between the blood based product versus salt water. All the individuals had similar degrees of improvement and pain after 6 months.
So for all the athletes who have already bought calves to obtain their PRP for injections to improve endurance and strength – do not worry, you can now enjoy the calf meat.
The results appear in the latest Journal of the American Medical Association.
Olivia Namath busted for pot!

The 19 year old daughter of NFL great Joe Namath, was busted Sunday morning for marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
Olivia was caught speeding in her Mercedes near Jupiter, Florida when she was stopped. During the pull over, the sheriff immediately became suspicious and searched the car.
The deputy discovered multiple bags of pot which weighed close to 200 grs. The search of the car also revealed an open bottle of Captain Morgan’s rum and many cans of beer.
Olivia Namath denied knowing anything about the pot but when asked if anyone had access to her car she denied it. She refused to answer any more questions and was then promptly arrested for possession of marijuana. In the state of Florida, possession of more than 20 grs of marihuana under the age of 21 with intent to sell is a cause for arrest.
Olivia was released late Sunday on a $3,000 bond. Olivia did not indicate if she intended to sale the beer or drink it after celebrating her first pot sale.
Sex & Death in France- Jessica Davis

Jessica Davis 30, the niece of Britain’s junior defense minister told police she was a “monster” after stabbing a young 24 year old Frenchman she picked up in a bar. Said Davis at her two day trial in Versailles, “I just wanted to cut him a little but the knife went in by itself.”
When police arrived at the scene which occurred on Nov 11, 2007, they found Jessica kneeling nude at the bed in her posh French apartment trying to stop blood overflowing from the body of Olivier Mugnier. Davis immediately told police, “I did it. I can’t tell you why, but I did it… I am a monster.” Olivier had been stabbed twice in the upper chest with the knife going though the front and touched the spinal cord in the back.
At the time of her arrest, Jessica had very high levels of alcohol and also had traces of an anti depressant in her blood. She was barely coherent or able to stand at the time.
It is widely believed that Jessica became despondent after breaking up with her boyfriend and then resorted to picking up men in bars. Some forensic experts suspect that perhaps that this was an accidental death resulting from a sex game being played with a knife.
The trial has revealed a sad history of a dysfunctional family and a lonely child. The bitter divorce of her parents promoted Jessica to drink heavily and use cocaine as a teenager. She says that she had a troubled youth and did not have a steady job. The trial has revealed some complex psychological problems in the family where her wealthy father and schizophrenic brother once tried to kill their mother.
Davis has lived most of her life in France and faces a maximum sentence of 30 years if convicted
Dr Conrad Murphy not out of the woods yet!

La County prosecutors have not forgotten Michael Jackson’s death and are still gathering evidence to bring charges against Dr Conrad Murphy. Dr. Murphy was the last person to see MJ alive and has admitted giving the pop star a potent intravenous sedative- which ultimately caused his death.
Prosecutors want to bring the maximum charge that will keep Dr Conrad in prison for a long time. So far no official statements have been released by the LA county prosecutor’s office but there is word that charges may come any day.
DR Murray has gone back to work in Houston and neither he nor his lawyer Edward Chernoff have had anything to say about the matter regarding MJ.
Sources at TMZ claim that the investigation into the pop star’s death has been completed and will go to the district attorney’s office for final evaluation. Jackson died at his Los Angeles home while under the care of Dr Conrad who has admitted giving him the sedative Propofol. Propofol is a very powerful sedative used to put people to sleep during anesthesia. Prior to MJ’s death, it was unheard that such a potent drug would ever be used outside the confines of a hospital.
IT is not known if Dr Conrad continues to prescribe potent sedatives for his patients who have sleeping difficulties..

Casey Johnson’s Autopsy is completed

Autopsy on Casey Johnson was inconclusive and authoritities are awaiting the toxicology results to make sure that drugs were not a cause of her death, said LA country coronary spokesperson Craig Harvey.
Casey Johnson died suddenly but so far authorities do not suspect foul play. Casey was a diabetic but it is not known if this has had anything to do with her death.
Said Craig Harvey, “We continue to inquire into prior medical history.”
Casey Johnson was the daughter of Jets owner Robert Wood “Woody” Johnson IV and heir to the Johnson & Johnson Corporation.
Woody Johnson first became aware of daughter’s death just one day after his team clinched a playoff spot for the first time in three seasons.
Said Jesse Derris, a Johnson family spokesman, “The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during this time. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.”
Said Rex Ryan, jets head coach, “It’s obviously a tragedy for Mr. Johnson and his family.”
While Casey Johnson had no role in the success of the famous company, she did make headlines for her titillating lifestyle. Like her famous colleagues, Paris Hilton, there were ample reports on her free lifestyle and sexual escapades and she was often referred to as the “baby-oil heiress.”
Leptin Resistance and Weight Loss 101

Now that the New Year has set in, everyone has one resolution- lose weight. And the latest fad is how to overcome leptin resistance.
Leptin is a small hormone found in the brain and in fat tissues. It is believed that leptin plays vital role in metabolism and controls the appetite center. Now there is some research showing when leptin resistance develops, one may not be able to break down food and thus, this results in weight gain. Leptin resistance some people say leads to over eating.
So how does one change all that?
Avoid high calorie foods and this means stop eating pizza, chocolates, hamburgers, cheesecakes and cola type beverages.
Balance your diet – eat high carbs and low fat diets. Add more vegetables and fruit to your daily diet and avoid processed foods.
Avoid eating 3 large meals; instead space out your meals and eat 4-6 small snacks (make up the total calories to about 1600-1800 calories)
And finally, start walking or do some type of exercise. Once you lose weight not only do the leptin levels decrease but you tend to eat less. Other benefits of exercise include better blood pressure control, lower cholesterol and a generalized better feeling about self.
Today, there are many people advocating leptin diets and menus. All this is simply bunk. Save your hard earned money and forget all the leptin nonsense- to lose weight you need to eat less and walk more.
Move over Tiger, Warren Beatty has bedded 12,000 women

Yep, in the latest war on who has slept with most women, it appears that actor Warren Beatty is king. Author Peter Biskind claims Beatty has slept with more than 12,000 women in his life time and still counting.
The book entitled, “”Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America,” by author Peter Biskind asserts that Warren Beatty has bedded “more than 12,000 other women of every possible description.” Included in his sexual conquests are some charming females like Cher, Jane Fonda, Joan Collins, Julie Christie, Natalie Wood, Jackie Onassis, Diane Keaton and even Madonna.
However, Warren’s attorney told Access Hollywood that these claims are “absolute rubbish.”
Added Bertram Fields, Beatty’s attorney, “This is not an authorized biography and should not be sold as one. It contains statements that are not accurate its absolute rubbish. It quotes Warren as saying things he never said.”
However, book publisher Simon and Schuster say that, “Beatty sat for extensive interviews with Biskind, although the book is not authorized in any way.”
“Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America” contains a large number of other assertions including accusations that Beatty never wanted Faye Dunaway to co-star with him in 1967’s “Bonnie and Clyde” because of the way she looked.
The biography also claims that Natalie Wood attempt suicide after warren Beatty’s purported affair with Hollywood actress Leslie Caron.
Well, the book is out and makes for real juicy reading whether it is fact or fiction. Move over Tiger- you just got to 12 and have a long ways to go.
Drug Rehab

The explosion in drug and alcohol abuse in recent years has made Drug Rehab a very good business model. With some centers charging $50,000 a month or more, there is clearly quite a profit to be made. With insurance companies drastically cutting what they are willing to pay for Drug Rehab, many not even paying for the traditional full 30 days anymore, most facilities are private, and paid directly by the individual seeking treatment.
Many Drug Rehab centers are owned by large holding companies, with each operating multiple facilities that treat problems other than drug addiction as well. With addiction still on the rise, it does not appear that this business will slow down.
