Yes, the word is that if Elin decides to part ways with Tiger Woods, she would be entitled to at least $300 million. Sources say that Elin did sign a prenuptial agreement worth $300 million when she married Tiger Woods. In addition to this, the couple do own a lot more property including several mansions in Florida worth close to $41 million in total and a $22 million 155 foot yatch.
Forbes magazine says Woods has made close to $ 1 billion since 2006 and has some of the leading sponsorships and endorsement contracts in all of professional sports. For the time being most of his sponsors have decided to stick with Woods despite admission of his “transgressions.”
As far as his transgressions are concerned, at least two women have come forward and claimed the Tiger Woods had some type of affair with them. Tiger has only issued one statement saying that, “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” Woods said. “I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings.”
The golfing world has already begun to side with Elin. Said Jasper Parnevik, the individual who introduced Elin to woods, “We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to Elin and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron … It’s a private thing of course, but when you are the guy he is — the world’s best athlete — you should think more before you do stuff … and maybe not ’just do it,’ like Nike says.”
