Daily News: It’s official.  According to Jonas mom Denise, Nick Jonas is preparing to release his debut solo album – Nick Jonas and the Administration. Aside from being a member of the Jonas Brothers, Nick may well be best known for his highly publicized relationship with Disney Star Miley Cyrus (otherwise known as Hannah Montana).  According to his mom, Jonas is in the process of shooting the album cover, which should bring delight to teenage girls worldwide.

Almost instantly, the news became the most popular subject on twitter, and has sparked a media frenzy.  Jonas would hardly be the first boy band member to break away and release a solo album, and it might be just what he needs to break out of his older brothers’ shadows.  Mrs. Jonas, never shy about bragging about her famous sons, broke the news to a reporter this morning while also expressing delight with oldest son Kevin’s fiancée, which must be a huge relief for his future bride to be.

The Jonas from small town New Jersey appear to have made it through the Disney curse by avoiding the controversy that has plagued other Disney Channel graduates such as Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff. It seems as though the Jonas brothers’ liftoff into stardom has just begun – only time will tell whether or not Nick, Kevin and Joe will survive on their own talent.
