For women who hate wearing a bra, now there is a permanent solution. An Israeli cosmetic surgeon has devised an internal bra that will keep the breasts from sagging and maintain the shape forever. The Cup and Up device designed by Dr Eyal Gur is inserted as an outpatient and barely takes more than 45-60 minutes.
Says Dr Gur, “We’ve shown that that with a very small operation it’s possible to give a woman an internal bra that she can have for the rest of her life.”
Women who undergo this procedure do not need any other support except when engaging in intense outdoor activity.
The silicone cup is inserted via a small skin underneath the breast and covers the native breast. It is held together by a strap from the breast to the shoulder- the strap itself is inserted via small skin incisions.
The cup bra is manufactured by Orbix Medical, and vendors of this innovative bra claim that it is more aesthetic looking, cheaper and less painful than traditional breast enlargement surgery.
While the exact number of women who have undergone this novel procedure is not known, experts do have a few questions. Silicone can calcify and this can ruin the texture of the original breast. Instead of feeling a normal soft breast, a siliconized breast will feel hard and numb.
