Brock Lesnar has not fully healthy physically from the illness he suffered a few months go but it appears his mouth has fully recovered. Yesterday, Lesnar criticized the Canadian health care system saying that he nearly died from the care he received. Lesnar had fallen sick during a hunting trip and had to be taken at a nearly Canadian hospital in Manitoba.

Despite having signs and symptoms of a definitive surgical illness, the Canadian physicians appeared to be clueless. Lesnar says even his physicians in the USA were surprised at the missed diagnosis.

Said Lesnar, “They couldn’t find any signs of any problem in my stomach. It’s just a miracle.”

The UFC heavy weight champ fell ill during his trip which started soon after he had the common cold.

When asked about his illness over the past 2 months, Lesnar said, “Probably the lowest moment was getting care from Canada.They couldn’t do anything for me. It was like I was in a Third World country.”

“I’m just stating the facts here and that’s the facts,” he continued. “I love Canada. I own property in Canada but if I had to choose between getting care in Canada or the United States, I definitely want to be in the United States. Canadians, don’t get me wrong here. Listen I love Canada, some of the best people and best hunting in the world. I have family up there. But I wasn’t at the right facility. And it makes sense for me to say that.”

Lesnar’s wife immediately took him to a hospital in Bismarck where he received excellent care. Lesnar has almost recovered and will be back to wrestling in early summer.

Lesnar’s treatment reiterates what the world does not know about Canadian health care- it may be free but the level of care overall is awful.
