John Wu has made plans to develop private upscale condos which will feature secluded garden, shade trees, manicured lawns, elegant shrubs, a lawn, a walking path and a children’s playground.

Wintour has lived in her Greenwich home for the past 19 years. And she has a lot of powerful and rich neighbors like Debra Perelman and Richard Gere, who just moved out 2 years ago. Most homes in that area sell for an average of $10 million.

John Wu’s initial plans were met with protests but the city did approve his building plan. However, now the Department of Building has sent a letter to Wu saying that it intends to revoke the permit if the building is too tall.

Wu says he intends to fight all the way. Asked if he was aware of Wintour’s opposition or occupation. He had no clue.
“She works for Vogue?” he asked.
