Tanzanians With Albinism

A little known fact, Tanzanians with Albinism are at very high risk for murder.  According to ABC News, fifty four people with albinism have been murdered since 2007, as locals seem to believe their are magical properties to the blood, bones and skin of albinos.

Several groups have sprung up in Tanzania to help protect children and adults with Albinism, notably Under the Same Sun (UTSS), a Canadian group that focuses on local education to help eliminate the prejudice that people with albinism suffer in Tanzania.
